Great thread. This functionally puts the final nail in the coffin of EA to me (and by extension BioWare which was on life support). I don’t expect the PIF involvement to do anything but stifle creativity and go all in on genAI “solutions”

July 31 fell on a Friday in 2015. It was a rare day at work where we were totally caught up on everything and I got to leave early. On the way home I got stuck in traffic for a long time. I saw there had been an accident close to my home. I grumbled at how long it slowed me down. 1/?

If this ends up being my last post please know that I tried my best to be kind, even if I failed more than I would have liked. I loved my mom, my cats, and the few close friends I had. And I loved video games and talking about them. Yeah, that’s good. Hope I make it through.

Not that any of them need one (and VI was just remade a couple years ago), but Trails in the Sky says hi. Famously massive script with as many characters as VII and IX, remade so well last year, with the sequel coming THIS year.

Yoshi-P says if they wanted to remake 'Final Fantasy' 6, 8 or 9 the would have to split the games into 4 maybe 5 parts because the games are incredible huge. www.eurogamer.net/final-fantas...
