nuxters are the best ❤️ I have lots of PRs still to merge before we announce our winners, but ... this is incredible. can you believe we closed 242 issues in our inaugural nuxtathon? 🤯 now, please get some sleep! 😴

a screenshot from nuxtathon.live, showing 90 PRs submitted, 65 PRs merged, 242 issues closed

and 0s of time remaining!

Storybook now supports @tanstack.com React ! Again, Huge thanks to @beaussan.io and @tkdodo.eu for their help on the integration ! 🎉

Did you know Storybook has @tanstack.com React support built-in? 🛣 Automatic Router wrapping with memory history 🧭 Type-safe route, params, query, and path configuration 🌲 Code-based, file-based, and nested Route support 🧪 Auto-mocked Start server functions ⚙️ Zero-config setup

Agent controlled GH accounts are really becoming the cancer of open-source. What the hell is @github.com waiting for to help maintainers not get flooded by useless issues, comments and PRs. It really kills the joy of doing OSS stuff on peoples free time.

Going after OSS projects that are openly governed isn't going to do what you want it to. Vercel makes its money from its hosting platform and paid products. OSS is not a paid product and while contributes goodwill doesn't directly impact the bottomline. And these project's reach well exceed Vercel.

fuck vercel, fuck Next.js, fuck Svelte, fuck Turborepo, fuck SWR, fuck SWC Posing with the architect of a genocide for sales leads is an insane and deeply immoral stance these projects cannot separate themselves from the CEO of the company who funds them

Tweet from Guillermo Rauch, featuring a picture of him and Benjamin Netanyahu, and tweet text:

“🇺🇸 🇮🇱 🇦🇷

Enjoyed my discussion with PM Netanyahu on how AI education and literacy will keep our free societies ahead.

We spoke about AI empowering everyone to build software and the importance of ensuring it serves quality and progress.

Optimistic for peace, safety, and greatness for Israel and its neighbors.”

Same here, I’ll speak about Nuxt. I don’t post often, but this is a bit worrying in my opinion. Some do get funding from Vercel, but Nuxt is neither owned nor controlled by Vercel. Nuxt and the Nuxt team remain independent, community first and with a public governance model.

I get it, it sucks that open source projects get a lot of funding from this. But if there is one good thing to come out of this, it's funding for FLOSS. I can only speak about Svelte here, which is an independent project. We get funding from Vercel, but they don't control it.

Hello there! 👋 I’m looking for my next role in software engineering. I’d love to make an impact on developer experience, where my open-source and Nuxt team member experience can really make a difference. Open to frontend, backend, tooling or DX roles, remote or near Paris !

🙋 does anyone know about any interesting full-stack/frontend roles, which ideally would benefit from significant nuxt expertise? asking on behalf of a very talented developer ...

Nuxt 4.0 is here at last … and it's all about DX ✨ 🗂️ app/ directory for better organisation 🔄 smarter data fetching ⚡️ a faster CLI with socket communication 🔧 improved TypeScript integration ... and a smooth upgrade experience. 💚 👉 nuxt.com/blog/v4
