My two favorite niche game mechanics that I will always go crazy for are, 1. Games that let me repel down the sides of buildings or down from ceilings (bonus points if its free form rather than contextual points) 2. Games that let me use a plasma cutter to seal/cut through sci-fi doors
I hate using the word slop for anything other than AI. I've taken to calling the Lethal Company type games "Hang-out games", because they're geared towards facilitating a very casual voice chat hang-out session. But just "Co-op game" is a fine enough genre tag too.

How the fuck does the non-profit that's supposed to support the game industry have 40M in revenue a year and do fucking nothing?

Sometimes I write out a nice lengthy steam review for a game I like and I wonder if I would have rather gone into games media instead of game dev. It's just so satisfying to write out my thoughts.

This anti glass of milk ideology is bullshit. Like oh it's considered a fun treat if I put some chocolate powder in there or some flavor syrup and ice cream but as soon as I take my milk straight like the gods intended I'm a freak? Where is the justice when I must deny myself my greatest pleasures?
