YouTube comments @AlexDings: Really nice video - well researched. The one thing I missed was a mention of Elise, which has improved upon Quackle and has a far more refined evaluation function, so its gameplay is a bit more human and sneaky. Macondo (which you quickly mentioned) has also improved some of Quackle's weaknesses, especially by playing a flawless endgame (so the stats at 11:17 are true for Quackle, but Macondo is better than Nigel in endgames now). But I really enjoyed this overall, and I love your sense of humor 🙂 @Junferno: Danke schön for the feedback! What's that?? According to Junferno, the code and explanation for "Bad Apple!!" played on Scrabble is available open-source on GitHub! The steps have been arranged in a Jupyter file for easy setup. Full demo and video walkthrough will be uploaded to Patreon by this weekend.
