i don't know shit about this but from just this it seems fine (fine as in legal) to me as long as they are the sole owners of the copyright of the code. so you can license the code under the mit license OR you can pay them to license the code in another license

this isn't very popular to say, but for me personally, it was good that i had unrestricted internet access when i was a minor. i was aware of what i was doing and enjoyed it. i don't look back on it and go "well that was a mistake", i look back on it and wish i could do it for the first time again

sometimes i'm watching a video and in the openinig few minutes i go "wow this has already dismantled a misconception i had, how insightful, lets look at what the comments are saying about it" and it feels like nobody else actually watched the video
