Breathe in, breathe out. Never look down

Since our house sale fell through, I've been recalled as first choice holiday boarding for my canine nephew Bobby. He'll be gutted to discover it's only us oldies here now, as endless games with the kids was always a big draw for visiting dogs.

Yesterday Mr D received a missing instruction manual cosseted inside a fair sized cardboard box. Today, Amazon have delivered a vinyl album and a CD set squished together inside a large brown unpadded envelope. I can't help feeling there's a happy medium somewhere.

House buyers pulled out, flaky fuckers, because it's not the right time for them. So now we have all the fun of months of extra estate agentry and legal pish in our lives, just as we thought the end was in sight. That's honestly more depressing than losing the sale.

The halftime show at the next World Cup should be a competition for amusingly shaped vegetables, and a bloke in a flat hat playing the spoons. There's a balance to be redressed here.

Went for a half-time walk. A WALK, for those who were party to my earlier remarks about the extended half-time. So what'd I miss? Was that Rooney calling it crap just then?

Lurking around on FB reminded me of a dream I had last night about people putting up Reform flags with the arrow pointing to a picture of Nigel's face, and inside the arrow the REFORM bit was replaced with BE KIND. Everybody say awwwww. Or fuck off, Froggy.

There's Mr D being way too polite on the phone about a part missing from an order. 'Can you email us a photo?'. Most of us would struggle to hold back the obvious 'What, you want a picture of the thing I don't have?'

Had a yen for some fancy soap yesterday, and bought the one that claims to attract Happiness. Bugger me if I didn't forget to take it up to the bathroom. So that's it, fucked for another day.
