As kids, we understood “fairness.” As adults we learn how best to discern the difference between fairness and equality. I think we need to go back to fairness as our guide.

Phang: "Capital One said, 'We don't want the business anymore of the 45th president of the United States, his businesses, his failed sons, and his revocable trust.' So you can imagine -- I am just hypothesizing... but it suggests whatever Capital One uncovered was pretty bad. Makes you wonder..."

Incredible nonsense from John Cornyn. True, the harm to Epstein’s victims can’t be remedied by a “no” vote. But why should Blanche’s corrupt cover-up of the Epstein files—in violation of a Congressional mandate(!)—be rewarded by “yes”? Can’t get any more craven than this.

Cornyn justifies his support for Blanche: "That's one of those things that can't be remedied by a 'no' vote"

I snarkyly said this in a comment but it is true. Stop complaining about the courts and start using them. Being angry on social media isn’t going to change anything. You have to bankrupt them and destroy their support. Isolate them culturally and isolate them socially.

Gill: All 100 senators last week passed a non-binding resolution condemning any pardon for Ghislaine Maxwell. They're simultaneously considering confirming the guy who met with her and moved her to a low-security facility as the top cop in the United States. That is so insane to me.

Schiff: "He waited until he became president. Why did he wait to bring this $10b lawsuit? He waited so he would have the power of the presidency to leverage the IRS and DOJ to make him more money!"

Today, the Senate is expected to confirm Todd Blanche to formally lead the DOJ after he ordered the cancellation of a $1.8 billion slush fund aimed at compensating Trump’s allies. But the new deal left in place protections that would give Trump and his family broad immunity from IRS audits.

GOP senators sign off on corrupt immunity deal from IRS audits for Trump and sons

Todd Blanche appears to be on track to lead the DOJ after Sens. Thom Tillis (R-N.C.) and John Cornyn (R-Texas) agreed to the plan.

Tillis said Blanche had to meet with Epstein survivors. The survivors said he was condescending, rude & constantly interrupted them. They said he was just checking a box. Tillis wants slush fund order modified & IRS settlement gone. Blanche creates a sham order. Tillis wants performative nonsense.

No to any election deniers. No to attempting to hand in FAKE ELECTORAL SLATES. That's a double-edged sword....hurts us all. Hurts the states and the country as a whole. WIN ON MERIT/the people's votes, not cheating. Thankful Mike Pence is loyal to democracy and denied corruption.
