The “Riley Gaines” microphone case is priceless. It’s as if she’s some sort of actual reporter and not a cro-magnon dipshit who sits at home complaining about nonsense. Humiliating work. It’s hilarious watching all these sub-mediocre losers be raging narcissists. You are nothing, Riley.

Absolutely nobody knew who Riley Gaines was when she was swimming for Kentucky -- there wasn't a whole arena booing her at that time.

Thank you to everyone who’s supported us. And a special thank you to Illinois elected officials — including many of my opponents — who have condemned this political prosecution by the Trump administration:

Apocalyptically stupid. MAGA DOGE-bags put 1000s of Hispanic names/SSNs into a master death file, knowing they weren’t dead. WhiteHouse falsely called them all illegal. DOGE idiot was going by no-fly list names or something. WaPo gift article: wapo.st/3RKSQQt

Trump administration overrode Social Security staff to list immigrants as dead

A senior executive who objected was marched out of his office and put on leave, while earlier warnings about the agency’s deaths database were ignored.

A week ago, the Trump administration laid off thousands of people at HHS and its agencies. The cuts were so deep, and touched so much, we're still learning about the impacts. Here are a couple stories that have stood out to me. 1) @levfacher.bsky.social on the gutting of a pain-research office.

Unique pain research office eliminated in HHS purge

Pain is the most costly chronic health problem in the U.S. In latest RIFs at NIH, an entire division devoted to pain research was closed down.
