I really don't get why farmers are upset with the State of affairs in the US. They voted for Trump because they wanted to "own the libs". 85% of farmers voted for Trump. They should be happy to import the beef and pay extra for food and essentials because they got what they wanted.

Confession of the Day: I bought a share sized bag of M&Ms... but I didn't share.

Just posted Dwarf Fortress 53.13. Your messengers can make peace, declare war, seek alliances, make contact, and improve trade relations now. Also various optimizations etc.

Past few weeks has not been fun time for Linux security. The good news, this class of exploits are closely related. Security teams know what to look for and architecture changes and safety measures can be put into place to prevent it in the future. If you're struggling, know that this too will pass.

Hey everyone. The Allumeria Steam page is currently down because Microsoft has filed a false DMCA claim on it. They sent an email earlier today claiming that this screenshot infringes on their copyright. I am taking a moment to figure out what my path is going forward, will update soon. #gamedev

Hello, @jebox.bsky.social . I'm helping Unomelon with the DMCA counter-notice. It would be just tops if you could get that DMCA pulled. Our counter-notice means the game is still down for two+ weeks. If Microsoft pulls the DMCA takedown notice, Allumeria should be back promptly. Many thanks 🙏

Vintage Story has been the most requested game for me to talk about. After a few hundred hours of playing and exploring how the game handles geology, I can finally release part 1 of my geologic review. youtu.be/b4e7mTRB7qg

This is the current front page of doge.gov, maybe 19 and 20 year olds led by someone who probably hasn't written a line of code since the 90s aren't the right people to be auditing the government's code base? Reportedly it's been this way for 10 hours.

I've got a lot of feelings about the recent survey. But Mod Pips has been the CEO of Jagex since 2017. Not once in 8 years before this has he hinted at introducing enshittification or mtx into old school. Do we really want to take a chance with some new CEO appointed by private equity? #osrs

So my Dwarf Fortress fort has a cat lady. She has adopted 11 cats. Likes them for their aloofness.

Coming back to work after 4 days off always leaves me feeling productive and unproductive at the same. More productive because I have energy. Unproductive because of how hard it is to get back into the groove.

so, I'm on a quest to find missing underwear and this is where its being held..

Awesome D&D session tonight. Players blew up a bridge interfere with troop movement in an ongoing war. The tidal wave capsized their boat. Previously they destroyed a water charm pissing off some water elementals. So a whirlpool formed and sucked them into the element plane of water.

I've started playing Dwarf Fortress this weekend. After about 4 hours of learning the basic interface, I've finally gotten the hang of it and got sucked in. It's an amazing game and I've ruined my sleep routine. 10/10 experience even if it still has some rough edges. #DwarfFortress

I do not believe the election was stolen or there was any significant amount of voter fraud. I do however think it would be very funny to put those allegations to Trump and see him have to defend the election results.
