I’m a Kiwi in Aotearoa who watches US politics as a hobby. Kind of concerned right now to be fair. 💣🚀🍊☢️ 🌻🇺🇦🌻

Farm workers are picking tomatoes in Los Banos area. "We go in at 7am and get off at 1pm. We are bent over for those hours and our backs ache by the end of the work day. When we get home we often take pain meds and use ointments for relief." #WeFeedYou

Pete Hegseth has failed the American people. He's failed our service members. And he's failed to uphold the Constitution. He has no business serving as Secretary of Defense. When Congress returns in November, I'm a YES on impeachment.

Hegseth dismisses other countries contribution to fighting in Afghanistan. Whether or not the west was right to be there, the US lost about 2400 troops, and the UK lost about 450 alone. The US is five times the size of the UK. Britain pulled its fucking weight. www.stripes.com/theaters/us/...

Hegseth is facing backlash over remarks in the speech that disparaged the NATO-led coalition that supported U.S. forces in Afghanistan.

These workers are harvesting carrots piece rate in the Tehachapi region. "Julia" says, "Our group is paid $3.05 per box. There are 24 bunches of 7 carrots in each box. At the end of the day we are paid equal amounts depending on the number of boxes the group produces." #WeFeedYou

I don’t understand why farmers need an endless series of welfare payments from the rest of us since Trump took office. Aren’t his policies working for you? You need us to pay you so you will keep voting for the guy who is failing you? Don’t you believe in free market capitalism?

"Cecilia" is picking figs in Merced county at minimum wage. "We are standing for long hours. By the end of the day our feet often have blisters. But we do this work to support our families. We have rent and bills to pay and this is how we do it." #WeFeedYou
