I should have done this earlier but hello! You either call me Hati or Anino, either is fine. This here my account for Luwalhati which both my RP character and an exploration of old stories and a heritage that I am trying to reconnect with after moving away at a young age. So, yeah. Mabuhay?

" No live organism can continue for long to exist sanely under conditions of absolute reality; even larks and katydids are supposed, by some, to dream. Hill House, not sane, stood by itself ... silence lay steadily against the wood and stone of Hill House, and whatever walked there, walked alone. "

A quick yet delicious meal was on its way; the few minutes Maria spent was enough for Dante to come up with something simple yet scrumptious. “Talaga ba? Tamo, bukas nagsusulat na yan ng cursive.” He jested while transferring the food from the pan to the plate.

Maria spent a few more minutes with their child before laying the little one to sleep next to their twin. Quiet steps left the room, leaving the two precious ones with their beloved pet cat, while the mother joined the father in the kitchen. "Alam mo ba, marunong na magsulat sina Tala at Castor ---

“Hehe sige, diyan ka muna..” Dante’s hand grabs a quick feelcof his beloved before exiting the room quietly to start making lunch. He was no chef, but he knew his own way around the kitchen like it was a classroom.

Maria playfully nudged him with her hip. "Daddy, magluto ka na. Baka mamaya magising pa si Tala." She laughed.

“Buti ka pa..” he leans in, “nakakatikim..” Dante winked.

"'Di ah... 'Di ba nga dami nating kapitbahay na nagkakacrush sa'yo." She grinned and leaned in once more for a chaste kiss. "Sana all daw."

Dante’s lips lingered where hers would still have been if a sleeping babe was not present. But even in the absence of her lips, her eyes delivered the very same sweetness. “Binobola mo na naman ako..” he smirked, running his finger along her chin.

Her lips pucker to meet Dante's. And for a moment, they shared a silent moment of sweet stillness. Her lips return to its natural state, but her face maintained the closeness with his. Her golden gaze traversed his angelic face, stitching together an exact copy of him in her mind's eye for ---

Powerless to resist god-given affection, Dante stepped back in to savor her lips. “…”

She giggled and placed a few more kisses on his face. "Joke lang, Mahal. Halika nga rito. Bigyan kita ng kiss."

“Ay—“ his face dropped almost instantaneously, “Grabe siya sa akin oh…”

The matriarch glanced with lopsided smile. "Basta luto mo, sapat na." She chuckled. The look on her face shifted to a more playful facade. "Himala ah... 'Di ka nagtanong kung Jollibee."

“May chicken breast akong pina-thaw doon, lagyan ko lang ng breading tapos luto ako ng sabaw.” He plants a kiss on her shoulder, “Enough na ba yun?”

Maria Hermosa@malabituin.bsky.social · last yr.

"Mm? Ano lulutuin mo?" The mother lovingly brushed away the raven tresses from Tala's forehead. "...Sana laging payapa ang buhay natin..."

Dante held his breath, at least until Tala’s eyes rested behind the veil of her eyelids. “Hindi pa.. lutuan kita ha..”

Maria Hermosa@malabituin.bsky.social · last yr.

"Hindi pa. Kumain ka na ba?" Maria leaned her head against his, creating a tender closeness between them as she gazed down at Tala. The little baby's eyes fluttered close.

“Wala lang… namiss lang kita..” whispered Dante whilst dragging his nose along her neck. “Kumain ka na?”

Maria Hermosa@malabituin.bsky.social · last yr.

"Maaga nagising ang mga anak natin eh." She planted a kiss on her beloved's cheek. "Bakit?"

And the sweetness of his embrace was the answer to the reason of his call. Ever so gently, he perched his chin along her shoulder. “Oop… nagpapatulog ka pala..”

Maria Hermosa@malabituin.bsky.social · last yr.

Maria answers quietly. "Dito." The babe in her arms is the answer to the low volume of her call.

“Baby? Maria?” He pokes around the corner to look for @malabituin.bsky.social.
