My main review of Drive is that the driving and violence were its strongest parts and it could have used more of those. If you're calling the movie Drive I do expect something like Collateral-levels of a troubled guy in a car.

I think it's fine that a director made a movie about the parts of The Odyssey that spoke to him in 2026 America and in that adaptation left out some of the things that were more relevant to 600 BC Greece.

I was grouchy about having to go downtown for a four hour meeting from 12-4 today but it did have an advantage of having to go downtown for a meeting ending at 6 last week insofar as we could start post-meeting downtown glass of wine two hours earlier.
