RE: improv (special interest, definitely not expertise!) You will never be done seeing all the different forms it can take in terms of tone, pacing, genre, format etc. Even if you think you currently have an expansive view of it as an art form, there is always more beyond our scope of what it can be

Postcard From The Past@pastpostcard.bsky.social · 4w agoWe went into this place, its a high place, has all sorts of things there & up stairs there is an inside Tea Room very big, & the floor on the very Top is a Tea Room & gardens, its the only one in the world as high up as this; a roof garden, its so pretty, its hard to believe that its a roof garden.

Recently found out there was a Peanuts character called Shermy whom I have no recollection of. Apparently this so-called 'Shermy' has always been there and was in It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown, as well as many of the early-days Schulz comics. It's become a point of contention in our home
Really hopeful that the right people were paying attention to this show and to Yahya Abdul-Mateen II in particular -this is such an unbelievably crap situation, but hopefully one that will lead to bigger, better things

Not a big LatA fan, but I don't know how BBC can see Channel 4's Taskmaster grow and grow, or watch SNL UK lean into its own weird sensibilities and subsequently get renewed for a second season, and not figure out that investing in new comedy voices is a worthwhile thing to do
