You can/should read Emily Wilson's latest take on the Odyssey, but I'm logging on to convey my hairdresser's reaction. She was AGHAST that Nolan, with his million $ budget, gave Matt Damon ONLY 6 hair extensions. As a result, his hair did not blow around properly, & that ruined the film for her.

A more global point: "But she doesn't really know *film*" is credential-challenging that happens to women but rarely to men. Yet when @emilyrcwilson.bsky.social undoubtedly meets a guy at a dinner party who just saw the Nolan film and wants to talk, I know which contestant the gods will favor.

This feels like a great opportunity to talk about 'regurgitalites'. Coprolites are poop fossils, regurgitalites are vomit fossils. Both can contain useful details about digestion in dinosaurs. In the case of predators, sometimes we find new species (or at least pieces of them) IN the vomit.
