Lib Dem PPC for Hampstead and Highgate. Councillor for St Margaret’s and North Twickenham.

On the doorsteps of Hampstead & Highgate, I hear first-hand the concerns about antisemitism in our community. The Green Party motion will leave many Jewish people feeling less safe. We must build cohesion and tackle antisemitism and Islamophobia, not deepen division. I fully endorse this statement.

The motion passed at Green Party Conf' actively undermines a 2-state solution, and does not address the rising threats of Islamophobia and Antisemitism here in the UK. This is a divisive motion that pours fuel on the fire of tensions in the UK, and will leave many British Jews feeling less safe.

This confirms our worst fears. Labour want to divert taxpayers money from our public services to pay for their mandatory Digital ID scheme. The Lib Dems fought against Labour’s ID plans before and won, and we can do it again.

Good to see the Mayor finally recognise this as the right thing to do for Londoners whose livelihoods have been put on hold, and lives thrown into chaos. And a big win for the London Liberal Democrats on the GLA who have kept up the fight on this. londonlovesbusiness.com/mayor-backs-...
