What they negotiate with media rights is going to be big going forward. The schedule is just going to be more of a nightmare when you get up to 18 teams and especially if FIFA keeps increasing international windows. I think they're going to have no choice but to split into conferences.

It's the earliest NWSL start ever, necessary due to ~7 weeks off for the World Cup. More on NWSL realities of February, World Cup...and scheduling as MLS flips its calendar:
Adrián González says the Spirit "can take also a lot of positive things, even [with the loss]," but adds that he sees "the next step" for the team being how patient they can be in the final third.
I think it's been fair to say over the last 4 games, this is showing not so much in fatigue as it is in lack of time to use training sessions to refine and adjust their approach. It's recovery, one session, and gameday over and over

Adrián González was "not surprised" that this was difficult, given their travel/fatigue & how well Utah have been playing. "It was difficult to skip that pressure, and we had our chances. The most important thing is that right now, the team is competing... A winning team with a winning mentality."

Rodman's on 8 g/5a in her last 12. More & more lately she's doing it while outrunning markers, winning shoulder-to-shoulder challenges, and so on. Her belief that her back is fully healed is really leading to confidence, & she's added better angles/runs to her game in the meantime. Sky's the limit.
