I ended up accidentally skipping to Narakaloka on Feb 19, and Treetop Song on Feb 20, but both were fitting. Going back to Song For The Julian Calendar now, Feb 21. This is perfectly suited for today.

February 16: Noche del Guajolote I've been following along with the #bookclub, silently liking comments on youtube. There is still snow on the ground here in New Jersey, and listening to this song today made me feel warm, so I listened to it three more times.
I cry at the start of every movie I guess 'cause I wish I was making things too But I'm working for the knife
I thought amc was being cute, like "Oh, Hi! Tickets Are On Sale 😘" like, okay... tickets for what tho? Oh. Right.
Being as @thestorygraph.com is down, I'm just let y'all know that I finished this novel, and really, GOOD FOR HER! AND the cover GLOWS IN THE DARK!!! which I found out one night after reading before bed. Fun stuff all around.

Been a weird week. Okonomiyaki. Ginger salad. The Rehearsal catchup. Little wine.
I’m doing a bread subscription now. To keep moral high.
Please do not bring up the price of eggs to me, I’m trying to enjoy my frivolous little purchase.
Happy May 1st. The value of your labor belongs to you and the actions of the state are best understood as as a coordinated effort to distract you from this. The state fears an organized and unified proletariat like it fears death and rightly so. Power to the workers and power to the people

Cleaning out the nicole kidman amc suit bag…
At a party last night and just kept drinking lime seltzers back to back. Dry eye barely bothered me until a gap during my travels between there and home. The cure for dry eye is pounding lime seltzers and never stopping. (It’s staying hydrated.)
I’m reading this now, after getting sidetracked with some nonsense, and lemme tell ya, this is the stuff. Right off the bat, just deeply uncomfortable, revolting, and somehow beautiful. I love it.
Gotta get back on track with my reading goals. Finishing up a book club pick and a Kawakami, but after that I need to fuck things up.
April 15-April 26 Look how they massacred my boy
I keep picking and powering through books I end up not enjoying. I wish I could do that for the cool stuff I actually like. Anyways, these are the three paragraphs that I did like out of about 300 pages.
Trying for an entryway back into the hobbies that I loved 🥹

Dog sitting and we’re micro dosing The Pitt, but I also got him to binge all of Nathan For You so he can be as excited as I am for The Rehearsal season two tonight.
this is very much the lesson and is how you get the bad guys on defense. actually do stuff. you'd think it would be obvious and yet.
amazing how grasping this seems in response to someone doing something, how much he needs to be able to rewrite what you saw. the lesson is to do more things
