Burnham must be watched carefully. He seems to have no scruples at all about claiming the credit for the great work of his predecessors. He seems to be reluctant to provide attributions, or tardy at the very least.

Remember that Russia has a penchant for staging certain type of events, like the 1999 apartment bombings, or the Moscow theater hostage crisis, to justify military actions and bolster support for the war. With Putin and the war becoming increasingly unpopular there is a likelihood of another setup.
