Chunky, Scouse, bit of a wanderer.

Everyone supports us when we filter out everyone who disagrees with us and the 75% of our supporters who couldn't be bothered to respond. In other news, when you filter out the exes I ended on bad terms with, it turns out my exes unanimously agree I was a great boyfriend.

The anti-trans group LGB Alliance posted this to Twitter, and I find it genuinely funny. Once you read the methodology section on their survey, it's clear that this survey only tells you that people who already support this group... agree with the group.

LGB Alliance "We surveyed lesbian, gay and bisexual people. 94% felt uncomfortable being categorized under the LGBTQ+ umbrella. 87% felt uncomfortable being categorised as "queer.""

What a beautiful world, where I get to watch a load of right wing Catholic schismatics get themselves immediately and automatically excommunicated on a live stream from the comfort of my own home.

This post should be studied. Guy shows his whole arse in someone else's mentions, starts shit and doubles down but, y'know, he just inadvertently got trapped. The posts he chose to write are completely out of his control. There's the passive voice and then there's this mess 🙄

A fellow Labour Party member once described Wes Streeting to me as Zippy from Rainbow if he'd been radicalized by Mumsnet. which is a very specific set of references but also disturbingly accurate.

I'm pretty sure those meetings were him keeping score, getting to hear directly the harm he's doing. The problem people have when they try to defend Wesley is there's a huge number of us who, since his Uni days, have direct personal experience of what a lying, self-hating bigot he is. We know him.

Except he actually isn't. As someone who was deeply concerned about puberty blockers ban, the anti-trans lobby etc I've spent a lot of time speaking with Wes about it and I've actually been impressed that he's able to do a lot of setting aside his own beliefs and try to follow the evidence.
