I think I've just come up with a brand new conspiracy theory, or at least one I haven't heard yet. What if Hegseth's purge of the military leadership is not in an effort to replace them with Trump loyalists but with Hegseth loyalists. Military coup with Hegseth at the top, perhaps?

If there was a civil national divorce how many separate nations would emerge? I think, at minimum, four new nations. The Northest (N.E. plus NY,NJ, PA, DE, MD, and maybe a Northern Va. Capital in NY. The South (WV, rest of VA, NC, SC, TN, AL, GA, AR, MS, OH, FL, IN, KY, LA. Capital in FL.
