The first event was okay, but lower turn out than I hoped. A local LARP group was also at the park and joined us for a round. They had fun but sounded like it mostly wasnt for them. But I'm aware new group is gonna take time and effort to grow.

I finished #ZCom! Overall really happy with it, the ending was satisfying if not perfect. The character writing and voice acting was top tier throughout. Wish they'd pulled an ME2 and had the whole crew involved in the last mission, but if not structured differently we'd have steamrolled the bosses

Star Wars: Zero Company is *almost* the kind of game we aspire to one day make. The character writing is great, the gameplay is solid. The main things it is missing are greater narrative choice and exploration, ie the things that would take it from a strategy game to a tactics RPG, imo.

At my old job when ChatGPT came out so many of my coworkers tried to jump onto it to write their annual performance evals for them. Even when I reminded them that was a huge security concern because it trains on the data you put in, no one changed their minds. I fuckin hated it then and still do

Actually, you know what? Maybe I am happy that Bluesky doesn't have pictures in DMs. I'm glad sexworkers aren't getting blasted with dick pics. I'm glad artists aren't getting spammed with AI edits of their artwork. Lots of things to be glad about with the lack of that feature.

Went out for dinner at a Japanese place after the nerf event. One of my friends gotta kinda pissy at my opinion that good sushi shouldn't need soy sauce just as good steak shouldn't need A1 or BBQ sauce.

@softrains.bsky.social Running into issues in Act 2 with fruit collision and weird physics. While carrying fruit (usually exploder fruit), they have clipped through walls and thrown exploding canisters around, failed to be accepted by the refiner stations, and twice now pushed me out of the map.

Had to put on a mask because my math class is right next to one of the exterior doors, so enough smoke was getting in to irritate my nose. 😓 #pnw #wildfires

As for my own #gamedev work: I finished reformatting the core rulebook of the TRIAD #ttrpg! Now need to populate it with art and finish essential supplemental materials before I'll feel confident releasing to the public. Unfortunately, I'm back in college so I have even less time and energy for art😥

Pretty disappointing #TennoCon this year. Tau looks fascinating and I'm excited for it, but the rest of tennolive barely showed anything #Warframe that wasn't shown earlier in the day, and the relay was....basically nothing. The Soulframe stuff should have been during their own panel.

While everyone's "all the love to trans folks" posts are nice and it is good to see support We have been getting them for a decade now. If you want to support trans folks, hire us. Support GFMs and asks for mutual aid. Put yourself between trans folks in public if you see harassment.
