I've read a bunch of books about the making of one classic movie or another, and they all have one thing in common: Every single one had a director, or producer, or star who was certain the movie would bomb, and they'd never work again, or they'd be fired by the end of the 2nd week of filming.

The first computer I ever owned was a Gateway 3000 386sx, with a 20 MEGABYTE hard drive. And I thought to myself then, "There's no way I'd ever need more than that!" My phone has 12,800 times as much storage, and I struggle to not max it out.

Throw in mail, messages and photo and that's another 65 gigs. So I'm done. I know you're supposed to be able to store some of that in the cloud but it comes back. How?

Just got out of Terrance Malik’s adaptation of the Odyssey. It is one of the most visually stunning things over committed to film. Odysseus (Adrian Brody) remains out of frame for the entire film and is only briefly heard in voiceover. Also, there are dinosaurs for some reason.

Just gonna point out that sometimes using initials for a show's name can confuse. It took me 3 readings of this to figure out that KotH =/= KitH. I've seen every episode of Kids in the Hall, and I do not remember a menopause episode.

One of my favorite things about this ODYSSEY hoopla is that O BROTHER WHERE ART THOU? is back on the iTunes bestseller chart.
