My last race was almost 5 years ago. Going through my old race shirts now, I feel a way that I can’t quite put into words. Like I don’t deserve to wear any of these things anymore. Like they’re not who I am anymore. They’ve sat in a box under my bed, serving as memories that I seldom visit.
Death Stranding is a game about walking that you play when you don’t have friends or feel alone. Big Walk is a game about walking that you play when you love your friends.

The way people talk about classic video games makes me really sad sometimes. Makes me think about the guy who said that "everything needs to be remade eventually", because I think this is an unspoken/unexplored thought in the minds of many. It's just kind of tragic to me.
Walked into my local donut shop to hear one of my favorite Of Montreal songs playing; the 12 minute long epic “The Past is a Grotesque Animal.” Not a song I would ever expect to hear in public, and yet little things like that make my day.
I have dreamt about my alarm going off three times now in the past two nights. And it of course wakes me up. Not a fan of whatever this new anxiety is which is causing this.
Now that MGS4 is available to people who don’t own a PS3, I was a little worried it wouldn’t stand up in 2026. But it seems like a lot of people playing it for the first time are genuinely enjoying it. It’s kind of nice seeing the modern discourse of it, especially since it’s mostly positive.

I made a last minute decision to go to Cedar Point by myself yesterday to meet up with someone who I have never met before who also wanted to go. And it ended up being a perfect day!

Spent some time in Chicago this past weekend seeing friends and enjoying each other’s company.
I never really liked a lot of the Japanese lyrical music or the stereotypical “anime” sounding songs in Bemani games, but goddamn it I love ここなつ so much.
I swear to god if I have to listen to one more person listening to videos on their phone out loud I am going to go insane. Do people have no shame?

This is accomplished via several clever uses of the environment.
