@kimber555.bsky.social words: shield umbrella garden there's an upside-down umbrella birdbath in the garden with shade and shield below for all the birds and little animals except squirrels, because fuck squirrels

there's an upside-down
umbrella birdbath
in the garden
with shade and shield below
for all the birds and little animals
except squirrels, because fuck squirrels

there's a drawing of an upside-down umbrella with a menacing-looking squirrel next to it holding a large knife and pointing at the reader as if to say, "you're next."

I'm rebooting an old game I used to play with friends, hope that's ok! It always got smiles and laughter so I hope it does here too. 💜 #PoetsOfDoom #games #poetry #writing @sonnetsmith.bsky.social @daveashleypoet.bsky.social @phylogeneticsteve.bsky.social @jenthorne.bsky.social

When I worked in call centers, I used to ask friends to give me random words and I'd write them a little poem or give them a silly drawing.

So, and I know this could be dangerous with this crowd, give me 2-3 words and a little time and I'll give you a silly little poem or drawing, your choice!

(drawing is a call center Jabberwocky - very bad ink drawing)

Poem to a tree (repost) #poem #poetry

"I would ask you to forgive me if I knew I was still capable of being honest
How can I look at you in the eyes when all I've prayed for is your downfall?, back when I still prayed
When did I ever decide that this was right for me?
I was so foolish, I didn't realize this would break me
I would prefer to be a hypocrate than a monster
If you feel bad for me oh guardian angel, please don't, because I'm not good enough to decline an offer to kill myself
Whenever everyone is looking, I'm a capable cog in the machine, but whenever I'm alone with you, I just wanna die of guilt and shame
Let the earth claim what's theirs, let the soil eat me and not leave anything behind, and tell her that I couldn't love her, but that what I felt was the closest I ever got to loving someone
A poem by Kimber Etrallo"

Thanks babes!, I needed to hear that #screenshot #castlevania #ariaofsorrow

The following are a series of screenshots from the game Castlevania Aria of Sorrow, here we see our protagonist Soma Cruz saying to someone "Since I got this power, I´ve begun to lose my sense of self"

He was talking with Yoko Belnades, a very cute blonde girl who tells him "Don´t second guess yourself. Be confident. That´s most important"

Here we see Yoko say "You are yourself, There´s no one else you could be"

#poetry #kiss #passion #kisssupremacy "Since the invention of the kiss, there have been five kisses that were rated the most passionate, the most pure. This one left them all behind." – William Goldman, The Princess Bride screenplay

Nothing compares to a great kiss

Slow, gentle, deliberate
Lips grazing lips, like a lingering caress
Drawing out nearly tearful cries
Every flick, sensed and savored
Eyes heavy, feeling veiled in silk

A push, a pull
An answer in kind
Moans that translate as, "Don't stop"
Mouths, playing in time to a rhythm
A sensual waltz that could last for hours

Consuming, greedy
A face, claimed by strong hands
Hungry lips, descending as if on prey
Tongue, swirling and devouring
Awakening a direct line that ends between thighs
Leaving lovers breathless

For me,
One kiss could never be enough
If a sublime kiss went on forever,
I would die ecstatic
And somehow,
Still unsated

HUMAN ARTIST!!! Use one piece to Convince People to follow you!

Creature of the night
Freedom
Achieves night
Calm demeanor of the streets outside
For once I was noble, I am now dust
But safety is guaranteed when you envelop me whole
Oh sweet moon, never leave my side
My body I would destroy just to have you on my mind
Life is worthless without your cold caring touch
Touch, touch
Touch all you want, I´m yours
I was no one else ever but yours
Give me not strength but time
To write my little poems and think of where I could hide

Your beautiful machine never slows, never stops (˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶) #outrun #photo #photography #toyphoto #toyphotography #lego

The following are photos of a LEGO set, the F50 supercar, here we see the car parked among some bushes, on top of a rocky path, we see our driver ready for action, and our copilot already freaking out even though the car has not started yet

Here we see the car on the road! or well, the rocky road we saw before, the car is tiny compared to the proportions of the rest of the set, the sun shining down on it nicely

Here we have the same position as before, just from a back angle instead of a side one, we see the spoiler and the exhaust tubes, the car ready for action

Here we see a more videogamemy shot, with the car shot from behind, right in the lower center of the screen, just like in Outrun 2!

The fire that shines in you and me, it must be killed, again and again and again, again and again and again, again and again and again

Inspired in my feelings for the last four years, this set contains the same image repeated four times, each with slight differences in lighting, shadows, exposure, and other filters, this is the original, I describe it as: A photo, taken at night of a dark outdoors grass plain, from farthest to closest we see a barb wire fence separating us from unknown darkness, a treeline of slim trees, some atop sand instead of grass, and as the center piece adorning the grass plain and capturing the light from the camera flash, a single individual desk, just as alien alongside it is one lone stone slab, almost serving as a chair for the classroom desk, the space between this “sight” and us stretches uncomfortably as we don't get any closer to it. This first image´s accompanying text is: "For if I live for a thousand lives, in one I will be happy"

This image is now a bit darker, obscuring most of the trees in the distance and part of the grass in front, the phrase in this one is "In you I see what I want, in me I see the immaturity that remains"

This image is slightly darker than the last, with the exposure and hues ramped up some more, its all shadows except for the desk and chair, and the few light that remains looks reddish in the lens, the phrase here is repeated four times across the image, only one is fully visible saying "Once I was whole, but I dared open my mind, spill my heart, dark thoughts and all

This last image is more lit up even than the original, the exposure is a bit off, making the light look yellowish or orange, the phrase here is "I thank you, because of you I know how it feels to hold someone close, because of you I know what it is like to be held..."

I love you so much Heather, please don´t die #screenshot #silenthill3 #gamephotography

The following are screenshots from the game Silent Hill 3, here we see our protagonist Heather, standing in the corner of a grimy room, clutching a handgun close to her chest

Here we see Heather walking forth deeper towards a dark corridor, she is holding a shotgun, the metal corridor only illuminated by her pocket flashlight

Heather climbing up a flight of a rusty metal ladder, right in front of her is a humanoid figure, stuck in the wall beyond the ladder, she looks like a nurse, with blotches of red covering parts of her body, she looks unfocused in the shot

Here we have Heather looking out a window in a rusty grimy building, the window is partially covered in a metal fence except for a part where a hand creeps up from who knows where, we see Heather mentioning "The hand outside the window"

A photo of a Hilton Garden Inn, at night, taken from the street pointing upwards towards it, in front of the hotel a tree line can be seen softly contrasting with the building, and on the road in front of the tree line flashes of light can be seen, presumably being cars passing very fast
