Hey, if you need a pixel artist, I'm available (again!) for new work! I've got over a decade of industry experience, and I've worked previously on games like Perfect Tides Station to Station, Scott Pilgrim EX, Ninja Gaiden Ragebound, and Cross Blitz. 📧 hunter@hrpixelart.com 🎨 www.hrpixelart.com

As the director of a historical video game preservation institution, and someone who has dedicated his entire adult life to this cause, this is accurate. We have attempted to work with the industry's trade organization to find a legal path forward, but they refuse to offer a meaningful alternative.

piracy is the only extant form of media preservation that exists in games right now, you might find it morally reprehensible but there is literally no other institution that will keep games alive in 25, 50 years' time

Hey indie peeps. I'm going to be doing Kotaku's Indie Penance Day on Friday July 3 this year. If you have an upcoming or recently released game that deserves eyes, please email me at jwalker@kotaku.com with the subject "INDIE PENANCE 2026", and include a store link and YouTube video. Rules follow.

I just spent most of my afternoon with my lovely friends watching game conferences online and boy oh boy I'm I fucking tired of talk over fucking trailers for games. You're not selling a fucking knife set on an infomercial tv channel, you're selling a fucking video game

Do you make art and weird things with computers? Would you like to meet other people who do and talk to them about it? This June we're hosting a creativity unconference at King's - CUAK for short. Sat June 27th - Bush House - 9.30am-5.30pm Info and free tickets: www.possibilityspace.org/cuak/ 🦆

So sometimes I just look over at the state of games criticism and wonder why it's so stagnant ? I'm talking like your average player haven't really evolved in like 10 years

I swear I'm being for real when I ask this, but whose actually keeping IGN afloat ?? Whose looking at the latest release and going yes I must know what IGN thinks of this video game
