I spent years stressing about trying to fit in and be accepted. Once I stopped chasing trends, embraced my own taste in music and niche interests, and just let myself be “weird”, the anxiety vanished. Freedom is doing your own thing.
I hope he knows the sheer joy he brought us Gen Xers and Millennials. Strange Brew, Spaceballs, Ghostbusters, Honey I Shrunk the Kids. When he comes on screen as Dark Helmet again the theater is going to go nuts.
