It's interesting that my brain still throws the now long deprecated ⚠️Improper (lack of) use of masking curtains⚠️ warning even in a shiny new Vision + Atmos auditorium.

Four would be Americas, Eurasia+Africa, Australia, Antarctica. Five would granting that the Darien Gap was a much more impassable natural land barrier than the Middle East has ever been. 8+ would be treating at least South Asia consistently with how we treat the Europe/Asia divide.

I'm on team "the world has five or fewer continents or at least 8. Any number in the middle requires either an inconsistent definition (geographical for some, cultural for others) or for the number of continents to have changed when the Suez Canal was built."

Mostly unsure due to adoption on one side and the other going far enough back nobody remembers, with the exception of one guy who was pressed into the Royal Navy and jumped ship in Boston Harbor.
