Recently back from a great 10 days hiking - and lake swimming! - in the Zugspitz region of Austria (pics). Together with hikes in the #LakeDistrict before and after that trip, it's 124.5 miles to add to my total. YTD now stands at 557.5 miles. #nhs1000miles @kitzingercelia.bsky.social

Just made it over 10 peaks in under 10 hours - a foggy first half on the summits, clearing to sunny and cool for the second five. Great cake too (thank you!). Glad not to need my Advance Decision but so reassuring to have it on my race bib

30 hiking miles for #nhs1000miles this week. Thrilled to complete the 2 Peaks Challenge (12 mls, 800m) at #KMF2026 today - just over 4 months since my left knee replacement.
