badly done and very brief little guide about contrast when thinking about composition! this is really just the tip of the iceberg, but it is something i think about a lot! if you take one thing from this, its that composition is ALL about relationships between the elements. (1/2)

I usually haven't enjoyed a lot of the actual stories Clamp has written, but their skill at drawing a comic page still something to be studied. Check out this ambitious 8 panel comic page, which still manages to read easily. Leading the eye is an art in and of itself!

well. i was right in that sayolara was certainly written with said lineage/inspo. but i baited myself by setting my expectations too high when even the OG can't do a good 12 ep version of that storytelling style
