Making travel better for everyone.

The solution to this is a process that forces precedent to be valued that means means more judges and more circuits to allow for faster cases and to feed a circuit riding sortation system for Supreme Court justices and cases. If you never know which of the 29+ supreme Justices you’ll get …

Birthright citizenship is going to be the new Roe v Wade in the sense that Democrats need to win more elections than they lose in perpetuity to protect it, because Republicans are not making the mistake of appointing another Justice who will uphold it, ever

A $3 @mta.info subway fare and some good Q train timing can buy you one hell of a view of the July 4th fireworks and the Brooklyn Bridge light show! Huge shoutout to the train operator for slow rolling over the Manhattan Bridge and the conductor for announcing it.

“Wait, your shoe was, like, broken open?” “Yeah.” “Was it your right?”

i have been thinking about this a lot. my "left-wing" ideas about government reform mostly amount to trying to make the federal government conform with the vision in the constitution: a strong, active and majoritarian congress

one thing that I find remarkable is that it is surprisingly left/radical coded in some spaces to think that Congress needs institutional reform in order to allow for more functional government

I understand SCOTUS, know who they are, & by all rational accounts it feels so naive to say: "I can't believe 4 of 9 justices said the Constitution doesn't protect birthright citizenship." And yet, I can't believe 4 of 9 justices just said the Constitution doesn't protect birthright citizenship.

need to start thinking now about a full package of judicial reforms: new justices, new circuits, new district courts, ethics reforms, docket reforms, and transparency reforms.

The US Men’s National Team has won two groups games for the first time since this tournament. Thanks you to the great immigrant Americans and those just born here made both happen.
