Saw Coyote Vs. Acme (2026) last week. Wonderful film, did most everything that I wanted it to as a new LT film: sympathetic but still villainous Wile E., likable + engaging human characters, not afraid of actual drama + themes, took its Toons seriously. Chase it down in theaters if you can. 4/5 ⭐'s

"The balancing act, BRAVERY and PATIENCE. Where PATIENCE's shadow might lead to inaction and conformity, the brave Patient is able to find the strength to move when standing still becomes something they might later regret." Don't know how to feel about this.
Well, guess I make a better Shop Keep then a Boss Battle~

Saw Hoppers (2026). Great stuff. Pixar's best in years by my count (And I liked Elio, Elemental). A fun, fierce, furry romp with good themes, creative direction. Dumbed down just enough to maintain that rating + max kid appeal, but still strong story, strong characters, and a very Pixar twist 4/5⭐'s
Saw GOAT (2026) a little while ago. A Roaring good time, some really stellar dynamic animation, color, and cultural worldbuilding for its anthro world inspired by our own: Better than Zoop? +'s: animation, themes, designs -'s: voice cast is a little weak, not the deepest characters or plot. 4/5⭐'s
Hyperpartisan news has one job nowadays: stir emotions. It is designed to make you angry, to make you upset, and to make you feel like you have to feel that way in order to be Correct, you have to be Angry to be Loyal, you have to be Upset to be Ethical, you have to be Miserable to be a Good Person.
Saw Charlie the Wonderdog. It was ok. Strengths: Very energetic+expressive animation, charming protagonist, mostly good core message, interesting themes. Weaknesses: Basic script, undeveloped characters, LOTS of squandered potential. Bit of a stale dog treat this one. Still, fun for the kids. 3/5⭐'s
Saw "Zootopia 2". An excellent furry film for furry fans (and film fans) with an excellent if somewhat limited expansion on The Zootopia Idea. I find its themes are stronger than Zoop1, its plot is better executed, and its world-building is great, everything you'd want from a Zootopia sequel. 4/5⭐s
Saw "Pets on A Train". A shockingly intense, high-octane flick with a wild and wacky ensemble of charming, surprisingly well-rounded animal characters. The peril might be a lot for younger viewers, but for those that love action and suspense, Pets on A Train is a ride you won't wanna miss. 4/5 ⭐'s
The cost of solar energy has been plummeting. In the U.S., there are now children's shows that feature LGBT characters. As main characters, even! There are so many books and shows and audio dramas starring queer characters that I have to pick and choose.

We could be 5 to 10 years from toothpaste that can regrow tooth enamel. The scales are beginning to tip in favor of Mars once sustaining life. We’ll potentially know for sure by 2040. The blue macaw is up to 160 individuals from an all-time low of 7, and confirmed to be breeding in the wild.

Saw "Night of the Zoopocalypse". A zoombie-filled feast for the eyes + for the ears- incredible synth-y score- that's chock full of genuine suspense, heart, + humor. Visuals + neon style carry a just-smart-enough script + likable characters thru a night of wild, but kid-friendly, horrors. 4/5⭐s
Saw Dog Man today. Like the Captain Underpants adaptation before it, Dog Man is colorful delight that injects a little bit of that dark Dreamworks depth while remaining doggedly loyal to the charmingly simplistic Dav Pilkey classic & underneath the zaniness there's powerful themes to uncover. 4/5⭐'s
You do not have to consume every single tiny piece of bad news in order to be a good person. It’s ok to miss things. Traumatizing yourself isn’t the same as activism. Bearing witness to the point that you’re paralyzed with fear and horror and fury isn’t going to help us get through this.
Remember their goal is to terrorize us. And social media is a fantastic way to spread terror. We don’t have to help them.
Saw Flow (2024) today and it was incredible. Mesmerizing and beautiful in a way hard to describe. A tense, quiet, wordless epic that feels like a new myth from a diff species. Gleaning meaning may require a deep dive into the sea of its dreamy imagery, but the view from the surface is just as lovely
i've never posted this sequence anywhere ! which feels a bit wrong, since i made the whole film just to get to this point. at the time, i felt a little embarrassed explaining this to other people for some reason LOL #animation
old... i hope it is ok for me to continue posting old stuff #animation
For my first video on here, how can I resist the chance to post this rapping stoat of Urban Tails fame, who's a delight (and quite nice!)
Drawtober stuff, never finished it. Basically Rocket Raccoon from when he crashes the ship he stole while escaping the lab, to before meeting Groot.
Saw "The Garfield Movie", it was nice and sweet, like a crème brulée after a hefty Italian meal: pleasant, but you always wish there was more of it. Stylish and full of color and personality, Garfield only suffers from a lack of ambition that's nothing new for the franchise. 3/5⭐'s
I saw "IF" and liked it quite a bit. IF dishes a lot of sweet fluff where others might have wanted a bit more spice and solid smarts, but what IF does well is load the plate with a heaping helping of hope. Which is something people need nowadays. Especially the grown-ups. 3/5⭐
I saw "Migration" yesterday. A delicious swirl of color and emotion. A very fun and gorgeous film to look at. A whirlwind family vacation that's big on charm and laughs, Migration doesn't pull punches either on action, suspense, and even romance. 4/5⭐
Saw "The Boy and the Heron" today. A beautiful film with extraordinary animation, overflowing with charm and a plot that doesn't hold your hand and trusts you to follow where it leads. 4/5⭐
