Toby Fox thought he was being clever by creating a thematic connection between 1225 and Dess Holiday. Joke's on him, as a railfan, the number 1225 frightens me for a different reason.

I’ve seen questions about why I chose to make Alfred a B12 instead of a Great Bear. Much of it came down to convenience. The B12 didn’t require as much modeling and was easier to make. Great Bear would have been better since the real life engine was faulty like Henry - would have been nice irony.
