The SCREEN Act is not just another age-verification bill — it goes much further than anything passed at the state-level or in other countries. 1. The bill doesn't just target porn sites. It goes after *any* site that allows material "harmful" to minors. You'd have to scan your face to use Google.

The vibe coded recomps are scary to me because more and more people are spreading them around before they can be properly investigated. It's only a matter of time before malware is put into one of these disguising itself as a mario 3 recomp and making headlines.

what's striking to me is that he wasn't caught literally reading chatgpt, but rather talking LIKE a chatbot, off script. we are really susceptible to this (i know i pick up verbal habits and phrases from youtubers if i binge their backlog) and it's probably an underrated way the mind erosion occurs

Many established content creators have this fear of becoming irrelevant. I personally think about it this way. When you become irrelevant you just go back to square one where you get to do whatever you want again. Not whatever the algorithm or the audience expects from you. And this is awesome.
