Here's a timely example where Twitch content providers end up by suggesting it will train its AI on the platforms stream. There's clearly a "no-commercial use" clause forbidding anything that isn't "fair dealing" or "fair use". Twitch is going to have to sort through legal minefields on our behalf

If someone offered me payment to play and record video games to train AI, I wouldn't take that opportunity. So why Amazon and Twitch think I'd be ok doing it for free is beyond me.

I stream VR game creations of other people who generally allow my sharing of their creation on their understanding that I increase awareness, which leads to sales. I'm a small hobbyist streamer with some success behind me. I can't, ethically or morally, knowingly stream others' creations to feed AI.

Twitch and Amazon are apparently planning to use streams to train Generative AI. Multiple sources tell me it will be announced in the coming months, despite some internal friction against it. Creators may be able to opt out of some training data.

Just been informed the current Elite Dangerous CG's are actually FOUR, each offering the excellent expanded cargo rack. I'm glad I already started the journey. It's great to be back out in the black in VR, this time with local dimming making it look even better. So far, ~30mins from a cold start

If you are building something good, and you sell out for a cheque from mainstream corp vampires, take note of what's happening to gaming these recent times. Life is being sucked from each acquisition. It'll happen to what you've sold too. Trust the system. It's what it does.

In the period between Pre-facebook Oculus and now, the original definition of outside-in tracking and inside-out tracking has completely changed to be devoid of any technical relevance and differentiation. Ain't marketing great.

Valheim VR just overtook VR Skater on my most played list on Steam to take fifth place in my favourites. I'm not done with VR Skater, but Valheim VR has me hooked with the combination of exploring, building, and levelling. It could be a while till I'm back to competing in the streets. #pcvr

A few hobbyist haters will be frothing hearing Matteo pick apart their myth-building objections predicting a Valve failure. The Steam Frame will be sold out, scalped and the subject of wishes no matter what negatives are spread. If you disagree, chances are this headset wasn't designed for you.

I keep hearing that the Steam Frame is Dead on Arrival because of 5 specific reasons. In truth I'm still extremely excited for it and these arguments only impact some VR gamers. Click here - youtu.be/pzmggxlNC0M

A-Z in PCVR. We're at C. Convrgence, cyubeVR and Crystal Riders. Two games that have little in common, other than having a bow to shoot deer, and one extraction shooter. At least two by solo devs. There's a lot to pick from "C" in PCVR. Any suggestions from what you've played, or wishlishted?

I'm running a PCVR A-Z journey on twitch.tv/kroyvr and here on BSKY. "B" is easy, containing two very successful VR games, and a big IP. But I'm heading off the beaten track: Broken Edge, Bitslap, and Biolum! Which PCVR B's come to your mind, and what are the larger titles? #pcvr

I'm doing a PCVR A-Z on my twitch.tv/kroyvr live stream and here on BSKY. New post for each letter. It's not exhaustive, but jump in with any suggestions of a PCVR game starting with "A". Tonight I experienced 2017's Atlantis VR and played the awesome Arken Age. Any further suggestions for A?
