For two years it was considered libellous to suggest that Hind Rajab was killed by Israeli military. This admission is part of a long-reaching pattern: deny the incident, muddy the waters, and then, some time later, and only with sustained pressure, admit to it. www.theguardian.com/world/2026/a...

All of us Kingdom Hearts fans right now with Disney finally acknowledging KH as a big franchise, getting an anime, and seeing all the new KH4 footage with a late 2027 release window.

You have to call Brian Thompson a "random person" in order to make your bullshit mortality argument because even you knows that you're on the side of murder being okay just so long as it comes from a rich white man in a suit. You're only supposed to lick the boot, fam, not deep throat it 💀✌️🥀

Ta-Nehisi Coates rejects blaming voters who wouldn’t back Kamala Harris over Gaza for her loss to Trump in 2024, saying many were asked to vote for a Democratic administration enabling a genocide against their own families.

“That’s you. That’s not me. And that’s not who I want to be,” he said.

He drew a historical parallel: Black Americans didn’t accept being sacrificed for Franklin Roosevelt’s New Deal, whose Social Security and housing programs were written to exclude most Black workers in order to win Southern votes, and Frederick Douglass pressured and publicly criticized Abraham Lincoln through much of the Civil War, warming to him only late.

The author of The Case for Reparations added, “If we get access to any sort of power, we can’t do what was done to us.”

WNBA should stop waffling and stand up for their LGBTQ fans and players. It’s morally correct but also financially correct. Most who watch WNBA LIKE that its diverse and a bit funky. That’s the product. We like it. Stop chasing the “average” fan. Not every product is for every person.

The historical growth of women’s basketball has taken a pincerlike shape, with ambition and boundary-smashing idealism on one end and fearful pragmatism on the other. Pragmatism, for the WNBA, has often come in the form of trying to appease some apocryphal average fan who would love the league if it were just a little less Black, a little less gay, a little less inviting of gender fluidity.

Forget, for a moment, that every effort the WNBA has made to cater to this perceived fan has backfired. The league is no longer in survival mode. For so long, the WNBA’s decision-making was animated by the need to answer anxiety-inducing questions about growth. The growth has happened, and it’s continuing.

Starting to think the whole of the UK should be quarantined from the rest of the world like in 28 Weeks Later until they get their transphobia sorted out.

The gag is that he IS reaching "normie voters", the young people that idiots on this Old Man Yells At Cloud ass website constantly dismiss. It's ONLY the terminally online Boomers that keep trying to insist that he's the next Osama Bin Laden. Ya know, for totally not racist reasons, of course 🫣

You may hate the Mike Johnson "I haven't seen the tweet" defense but there's something to be said for waving away a bunch of online noise that doesn't affect the normie voters you're trying to reach

I'm more than happy with calling you a racist and a moron (but I repeat myself) if you think Hasan Piker is anything resembling a "shock jock." He's a guy that cusses when speaking on left-of-center politics, that's about as edgy as he gets, but because he looks a certain way, you assume otherwise.

Aaron Rupar@atrupar.com · 2w ago

AOC on Hasan Piker: "Much hay was made about the fact that we lost young men in the last election. Many of the same consultants that are wringing their hands today were the same ones talking about how we have to go on Joe Rogan and not be so willing to engage in cancel culture."

Alright fine, instead we'll just call you a coon, LMAO If you're gonna do the bidding of the system that fucks over the people you promised to protect, then it is what it is. Get off that Reagan dick if you feel some type of way about it, playboy.

Francesca Hong's opponent, David Crowley, says it's a racist "slur" to call him "establishment"

Sooooo are the people who are using Harris as an excuse for their anti-Arab racism and Islamophobia gonna apologize and back off now or? Oh you didn’t actually care about her and you just wanted to demonize an Arab man and put him in his place? Oh okay
