On Red, White, and Bluegrass, we talked about Governor Beshear expanding the Pre-K pilot to two more counties, including my hometown. The supermajority took no action on Pre-K this past session. I'm proud to support solutions that put our kids and working parents first.

Today marks 61 years since Democrats launched Medicare and Medicaid. These programs have saved millions of American lives and helped lift countless families out of poverty. Despite that, Republicans are attacking them both. Kentucky deserves Democratic leaders who will protect access to healthcare.

Kentucky's seniors deserve care, respect, and food on the table. Around 750 seniors were at risk of losing their meals because of the KY GOP’s budget. Governor Beshear stepped up with $4 million in additional funding because he refuses to let Kentucky's seniors go without.
