Academician. Friend of puppies.

Fun detail about this article: I didn't notice until it was published, but writing about AI really changed the citation structure of my bibliography. Simply put, most of my references were super-recent. One-quarter came in the first quarter of 2026 alone. Over 50% since 2025.

Citations over time.

@mark-carney.bsky.social This is utterly baffling. You were going to get your majority one way or another. Why would you bring one of the most batshit crazy anti-vaxxer SoCons in Canadian politics into your party? You did not need Gladu, and any respectable political party shouldn't want her.

This defection is genuinely shocking, Marilyn Gladu is a crank in a safe Conservative seat www.cbc.ca/news/politic...

Just did my 1st peer review of an AI-generated paper. There was enough formatting/citation weirdness in the manuscript to make me run Opus 4.6 for an academic integrity check. Sure enough, hallucinations everywhere. This is the new normal. 🤦‍♂️ (I'm also aware of the irony of using AI to catch AI!)
