It’s Learning Disability Week 2025 and yesterday I read some poems at St James’ Hospital, Leeds. Met lovely nurses who make me hopeful for care offered to people with additional needs. Here’s one of the poems, published in Butcher’s Dog last year xxx

This is the first time I’ve used a power point to talk about my nature-landscape memoir, The Ghost Lake. I’m praying to the gods of technology that all goes well with it. Come along to Filey lit fest today, the evron centre 1.30 to see me fly or fail! It’s just £5.00 and you can pay on the door.
