Ugh what a night. Just got back from emergency vet. Miki came out of my office covered in blood on her back end. A panicked drive to the ER said it was a ruptured anal gland. Seriously thought I was gonna have to say goodbye to her tonight. She's home, doped up on pain meds, but ok.

It's been lovely but I need to scream into the void now.
