Because this won't be clear to some folks - the Deep Dungeon "Clear any floor of the Palace of the Dead 4 times" is no just a single floor, but sets of 10. So 40 floors, in total. #FFXIV

Now I'm introducing my boyfriend to Happy Death Day. One of my favorite takes on the Groundhog Day loop trope.
No one: My brain: *brings up a random post on social media that was hilarious while I'm on the phone with a customer at work* Me: *fighting desperately to get through the call and hit the mute button so I can get the uncontrollable giggles out of my system*
FurAffinity (a furry focused online art gallery) is looking for funding after refusing to comply with advertiser demands. And oh boy are some of those advertiser demands are pretty ridiculous.

Maybe I'm going to be worried over nothing, but the recent Ellipsus news has me concerned. If they're going to be releasing an app, then they'll need to adhere to the standards/terms and conditions that Apple, Google Play, etc have for their apps. Which means censorship by these corporations.
If you're in these states, *TODAY* is deadline to register to vote. Arizona, Arkansas Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, Mississippi, Ohio, Tennessee, Texas. Even if you think you've registered: doesn't hurt to check! And there's a lot happening across them. A thread with stakes on each. ⬇️

If y’all haven’t checked out @gatewayfate.bsky.social yet, you’re seriously missing out on one of my favorite FFXIV-themed events. For those going, be sure to keep an eye on Sunday’s schedule! Dancing Green will be out teaching a few in-game dance emotes! 🕺 Would love to see y’all there! #ffxiv
DAWNTRAIL: I'm not good with drawing animalistic characters but Lamaty'i is so sweet and I wanted to try 😭🥺💜 #xivwomenweek
Idk if maybe this is a comparison I should be making, but I feel like whenever I have someone tell me "I know you don't like AI", it's in the same tone of voice that someone tells me "Oh I know you don't like Terf Wizard". Like it has the same energy to it.
LRP: I want to point this at every user in the AO3 subreddit who dog piled on a trans woman for saying "Write what y'all want, but just know that if you write or read stuff from that series, you're still perpetuating harm."
and yes, pirating or making fanworks relating to the franchise also sustains its reach and perpetuates direct harm against trans people. the series has become a dogwhistle. I think everyone knows this but then also someone gave my husband HP donuts at work so I forget not everyone does
fordola getting an echo of the wol's memories in sb: how the fuck did you survive this fordola getting an echo of the wol's memories after shb/ew: IT GETS WORSE??
the only non-negotiable for writing is you have to read. doesn't matter if you're writing comics, prose, screenplays. read. read books, articles, scripts, comics. fiction and non-fiction. read lots of 'em and never stop reading.
i would rather remove my eyeballs than witness an AI tingler cover
The Craetor🍄☕️@craetor.bsky.social · 5d agoHello, esteemed mr Tingle... I'd like to inquire, by nature of the times we live in, whether you use AI at all for your covers these days.
A redo of my #FFxivWrite2026 thread to get everything in one place and in chronological order! Some fun little stats included at the end. Thank you so much to @moen-moen-ffxiv.bsky.social for organizing the event!! 📖✍️❤️
Every year for the last 4-5 years I have made up a "kinktober" prompt list for artists, writers and really anyone to use - feel free to share the graphic, repost it, remix it, no need to credit! If you end up participating, tag your post as #kinktober2026 so we can all find it! (Prompts in alt!)
I had, initially, not intended to participate in FFXIV Write. But I got inspired and decided to at least challenge myself. I didn't actually submit anything I wrote, let alone post it. But I still *wrote*. I've written more this last month than I have in many years.
