Smallville season 4: Lex tells Lana he narced that she was dating a teacher because she isn't grown, he has to protect her from abuse of power. Lex is grooming Lana and she calls him on it. Too bad they end up dating later. 🤢

Walk-on ferries out of Seattle are amazing. Transit options on the islands and peninsulas, not so much. I almost got stranded in Poulsbo this weekend but a friendly bus-driver warned me the bus stopped running at 4 PM on Sundays. I hate to have to bring my car on my next visit!

I'm 16 years late, but I watched The Social Network for the first time ago a week ago. Then today at Spider-Man I was surprised by a trailer for the sequel, The Social Reckoning. I'm looking forward to the follow-up to the villain origin story.

I am finally onto a Smallville season 4 episode I remember! Jynx, which introduces Mxyzptlk from comics lore. I thought the name was so memorably unusual I read up on the character on KryptonSite.

Watching Pokémon: The First Movie with my kids. I noticed Meowth says, "Send in the clones!" This was also the title of a Xena episode about a year or two later. Where did this expression come from? Play on "Send in the Clowns"?

I'm on the Smallville episode where Clark Kent and Lionel Luthor switch bodies. Tom Welling is so funny! I hope the writers give him more camp. Also as Clark, Lionel hits on two high school students and gets so turned on by smelling Martha Kent's hair he has a fire-eyes erection.

Smallville circa 2004: Lois Lane quips about Martha Stewart's prison time. Was it really that long ago? Not quite as head-turning as when Willow said, "Have you Googled her yet?" a year earlier on Buffy.

The other thing about this presser is the media is so clearly wanting to make Wilson look bad. They ask why miscommunication happened on Sunday. The answer is right in front of them - Chief Barnes failed - but they want to pin it on Wilson instead.

Gotta say, @mayor.seattle.gov is doing a great job with this press conference. Not only is the content solid, she's delivering it with confidence and assurance. seattlechannel.org/watch-live

On to Smallville season 4 episode 3 "Facade." Unfortunately back to high school we go. I was ready to be done with it. Got to get our new cast in there. Lois Lane is a super senior. Jensen Ackles gets a job as the football coach to date a student. At least Freak of the Week is back! #Smallville

My impressions as a newbie: this is getting less interesting with one side dominating and ppl afraid to vote against the house. I agree w/ Jason about the season being boring w/o him. I might take a break--already watching feeds less and instead relying on #BBSky recaps. #bb28

On to Smallville season 4! I adore Erica Durance as Lois already. And I went WHAT when Jensen Ackles appeared on the credits before he was introduced in the episode. I have fewer memories of the show at this point so I'm excited to be surprised. #Smallville

Rewatching Smallville, it's funny how Chloe, Lex, and Lionel are so obsessed with finding out Clark Kent's secret. The town is full of "meteor freaks." Why would they think Clark is anything different?

I finished Better Call Saul. Despite everyone reassuring me it is was the better show, I didn't really want to revisit Saul or Breaking Bad. It was indeed satisfying overall, but I wish I'd stopped when Jimmy and Kim split and he truly became Saul.
