my queer men’s birding club (@ queermensbirdclub_la on IG) has been doing a monthly drawing prompt where we draw our human interpretation of a bird - my western gull from last month 💪

surreal experience last night to watch the kcal cameraman discover the sunset fire in real time before it was reported, and then immediately text my bf in west hollywood (who safely evacuated soon after)

me & the roomie & birds are just about a mile outside an evacuation zone for the eaton fire 😵 we’re safe atm - friends pls text if you need anything (i’ve got plenty of extra N95s) 🙏🏻
