as much as i despise AI, i have to admit that it has made it possible for anyone, no longer just the very wealthy, to be a big adult baby who doesn't know how to interact with normal people and throws a fit whenever they don't get their way

I know the media is positioning this as purist creators defending the art form from predatory capitalists and I love that. But the basic truth is that the merger is going to **** up the money long term for everyone but like three people.

even when these outlets write a story specifically about how the Paramount/Warner merger will be bad, they frame it as a partisan "both sides" fight and refuse to acknowledge historical evidence that these mergers always end badly for labor and consumers

I’m sure there’s someone who has worded it better than me but the idea of MARVEL, a universe born from comics has no problem laying off their ENTIRE team of visual artists …

Covid is airborne: there's no evidence of fomite transmission (i.e. from surfaces). Covid hangs in the air like smoke & lingers in rooms with bad ventilation, hours after infected people have left. Those baggy blue surgical masks are pretty useless anyway - we've been gaslit from the outset by govt.
