Ok, so I'm declaring something. Artists. Creators. Peers. Dare I say, friends. Make your characters more ugly. Just a bit more ugly. A crooked eye or eye bags, a few wrickles, messy (not pretty) hair. Non-typical aesthetic proportions. Ugly fashion. It makes them so much more lovable and unique.
