What really baffles/infuriates me about Sony killing game discs is how foolhardy it seems. Despite endless pronouncements of death amidst digital alternatives, media like DVDs, CDs, Vinyl, physical books, etc. just stubbornly refuse to die. In fact some have become more popular in recent times.

Fellow bluesky texans who are still here should tell their peers thinking of jumping ship to reconsider, as this may be vibecoded shenanigans, that doesn't exactly line up with the law being cited here. Alternatively there are a couple methods you can use to bypass this in the next post below...

afaik, they're referring to the Texas App Store Age Verification law, which as it says, applies to APP STORES, not individual apps. If that's the law Bluesky Safety is pointing too, they're straight up lying when they claim they're required to verify the age of existing users in Texas.

The premise of this film alone is nuts sure, however I will be shocked if the critic score for this movie remains THAT high. Either the filmmakers did something to tap into the biases of film critics, or Illumination (for once) chose to lock tf in and make a movie that's better than average.

Personally, I'm way too tired/mellowed at my mid 30s age, and life is too short to be complaining about the photorealistic art direction of Rayman Legends Retold. That being said, I hope Ubisoft take criticism to heart and NOT make it the main art direction for the franchise going forward.

Okay, fine. I'll bite. As someone who's become jaded from over a decade of half-baked gestures/backhanded acknowledgements (intentional or not), ubisoft are, for once, doing more than the bare minimum regarding this remake. I'm actually cautiously looking forward to Rayman Legends Retold.

If there was ever a game that perfectly encapsulated the phrase "WE ARE SO FUCKING BACK" DooM 2016 (AKA the REAL DooM4) is that title. A little history, not just with this game, but the time frame in which this was leading up to release... (1/12)
