Jac. Squigglesworth—what are his squiggles worth?
Some of the best interactions are the spontaneous ones that occur between two random fans who’ve never met before. I had one of those tonight. Complimented this guy on his rad home 1969 Brooks Robinson jersey, and we had a nice short chat on Eutaw Street.
As awful as yesterday was in Birdland… The vibes in the Yard tonight were ~not as dead as you’d expect~ There was actually a decent energy. For whatever that’s worth.
There’s a lady here with a sign that says “Please don’t trade Mr. Splash.”
Orioles fans love hustle, moxie, and baseball the Oriole way
It’s very early, I know. But I think I like Christian Franklin.

Yo, dawg, are we SOAKIN’ guys now? Mid–19th-century rules. Beaning runners on the base paths with the ball. (I’d be down with that.)
Povich is giving this fanbase mouth to mouth tonight

Adley Rutschman’s eyes watered throughout a conversation at his new locker. He reiterated how much it meant to him that he was accepted the way he was in Baltimore. But he also understands the business, and while he’s processing, he’s trying to look forward
His last hug as an Oriole came from Cowser. Sad moo.
Colton Cowser was walking into a movie theatre with Adley Rutschman and a few other teammates when trade was made. Said was a shock and emotional for Adley. Cowser gave him a hug. Said was here for him if needed #orioles
The last Orioles game I ever attended with a close family member who subsequently died a very agonizing and traumatic death to an aggressive form of cancer, was Adley Rutschman’s big-league debut.
ANYWAY hey here's something more pleasant: a Baltimore architectural art piece. Available for purchase, $275 + shipping or free local delivery The backing is reclaimed matboard so the dimensions are a little janky; if it looks slightly crooked to you, that's why
I'm working on a wycinanki art piece of the Wilkens-Robins Building rn, if any Baltimore architecture appreciators want to call dibs on it in advance en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wilkens...

It’s a travesty that Manny Machado isn’t a lifetime Oriole. I’m open to that argument and criticism of the institutional failures, and the economics of the contemporary game, that led to that outcome. But the actual trade wasn’t bad. They got 7.5 WAR out of a yearslong rotation piece for a rental.
Kind of wild that I’m only just now (in 2026!) learning about a 2015 TV appearance from one of my favorite bands of the 2010s (I guess “Yo Gabba Gabba!” wasn’t really on my radar, lol) . . . But, man, does this song slap.

oh we are absolutely remembering some guys at the yard tonight
Just saw a guy actually wearing one of these in the wild. LOL
Whose idea was this. Burn it with fire.
That Jorge Mateo is a good player, he should be on the Orioles.
