Speaking about my Pico-8 Adventures videos, I think I should put a segment of gameplay as an intro/description section background (possibly blurring it a bit too) to make it a bit more interesting, so people wouldn't leave as much before that 40-60 sec intro ends.

This #pico8 #strategy #indiegame project already looks promising. Strategy games are not typical for our dear virtual console, so they are always welcome. Table-top style or otherwise :3

With the core mechanics sorted "Oh Nobles!" needed a bit more character, so I created an "old stuffy place name" generator so I could randomly name the battles, and had all the nobles make a little quip when they get defeated. #pico8

I've updated GIMP to 3.20 and text layers with text styling effects go invisible if your move them into a folder group. It seems someone had already reported this issue about a week ago, so hopefully it will be addressed with a hotfix soon. gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gimp/-... #gimp #gimpthings #bugs
