Taking a brief hiatus from my hiatus to mention that I NEED MY LEWIS will be out in March! This is a very special book for me. About a blanket who loses his boy... It's illustrated by the divine @verabrosgol.bsky.social , who is hilarious and tender in a nearly-impossible way. I'm a lucky author.

What a week! I hadn't been to NY in forever & got the perfect weather for walking the bridge, meeting up with friends, & bopping around to bookstores to sign copies of Shrinking Violet... I may also have made a big decision this week, about the NEXT book. But that news has to simmer awhile yet...

I want to believe we can do this too.
