A Response Letter to Kosaka et al. Regarding Manuscript Titled: “Radiotherapy Improves Survival in Non–Small Cell Lung Cancer Following Oligoprogression on Immunotherapy: A Cohort Study”

Kosaka et al.1 present an important perspective regarding our manuscript “Radiotherapy Improves Survival in NSCLC After Oligoprogression on Immunotherapy: A Cohort Study.”2 In our study, the median progression-free survival (PFS)-2 was 17 months (95% confidence interval: 12–31) following radiotherapy for oligoprogression in metastatic NSCLC. By contrast, the CURB trial by Tsai et al.3 reported a shorter median PFS of 10 months (95% confidence interval: 7.2–not reached) after stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT).
