Rachael@rachaelt.bsky.social · 2mo agoany time I see Jill Ellis I think about how she helped create and foster a dangerously hostile work environment for people who thought they landed their dream jobs with the Wave and how the NWSL tried to claim they have no responsibility of care for FO staff.
Remember, as per FIFA contracts, it’s illegal to be unhoused within a mile of any Fan Fest, which is a cruel “beautification” requirement of host cities. And how do you think that’s being enforced? Peacefully and with kindness? Go watch games at your local bars and give them your money instead
